It's time to find the best model who embodies style, substance and sophistication! Arizona Foothills Magazine and AZFoothills.com are looking for their next glamorous cover model, and have partnered with Macerich for their fourth-annual Face of Foothills Model Search, where they will hold open calls for local models and aspiring models to enter the prestigious contest.
Arizona Foothills will hold Casting Calls at Westcor's Arizona Shopping Centers in April and May 2012 to help find the Valley's prettiest faces for the Face of Foothills Model Search. The winner will be featured on a cover and in a six-page spread in Arizona Foothills Magazine, their face will appear on the homepage of AZFoothills.com for one year and they’ll receive more than $5,000 in cash and prizes!
The Casting Calls will be opportunities for models to meet representatives from the magazine, fill out entry forms and submit headshots to the contest, or have a headshot taken by a professional photographer. All ages, all heights, sexes and sizes are permitted. Minors will need a parent or guardian present. Models under 16 will be entered into AZFoothills.com’s separate Future Face of Foothills or Beautiful Baby contests.There are two types of Casting Calls-
Tier One Casting Calls
Tier One Casting Calls will be an opportunity for the magazine to choose a model from the pool of that center’s entrants, who will bypass the voting rounds and make it straight to the Finale Party as a finalist. The magazine will meet all entrants and accept all photos and information before choosing a finalist, who will be announced at the end of the Casting Call. All other entries will be submitted to the Face of Foothills pool of entries and are still in the running to win the title. These Casting Calls will have music and informal modeling. The Tier One Casting Calls will be held:
April 14, 2012 from 11 am-1 pm– Biltmore Fashion Park (click here for more details!)

Tier Two Casting Calls will be an opportunity for the magazine to meet entrants and accept photos and information from people from across the state of Arizona. Though a finalist will not be chosen live at these events, it’s a chance for those who may not live in the Phoenix metro to meet the staff in person and enter the contest. These casting calls will also showcase fabulous food and fun from Macerich. The Tier Two Casting Calls will be held in May and details are coming soon!
