Ability360 hosted its fundraising breakfast on Oct. 26. Nearly 400 community leaders and supporters attended the event that helped raise over $110,000 for Ability360's Sports & Fitness Center.
Ability360 is an organization that offers and promotes programs to empower people with disabilities to achieve or maintain independent lifestyles. The independent living philosophy states that people with disabilities should have the same civil rights, options and control over choices in their own lives as people without disabilities do.
The 360Breakfast works to support the organization’s Sports and Fitness Center. This 45,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility located in Phoenix offers a wide variety of amenities, such as wheelchair-accessible weight machines, an aquatic area equipped with lifts and elevators, accessible locker rooms and more.
Disability advocate Cory Hahn, Arizona Sun Devils coach Bobby Hurley and the community came together to raise essential funds in partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks to help sustain Ability360’s Sports & Fitness programs during the breakfast.

Hahn conducted a video interview on the road with the Diamondbacks during the World Series to talk about his journey after a spinal cord injury while playing for ASU Baseball and how he used the Sports & Fitness Center to rehabilitate and gain strength physically and mentally. Hurley shared his story about surviving a car accident nearly 30 years ago with Valley sports leader and Founder/CEO of Sports360AZ.com Brad Cesmat.
This year, the breakfast honored Mike McQuaid, a longtime community philanthropist who passed away in 2020. McQuaid and his business partner, Jim Whitehead, were instrumental in helping to start the 360Breakfast in 2018.
The breakfast was catered by Vincent on Camelback and Black Rifle Coffee. Guests got to enjoy great food on the basketball courts inside the Sports & Fitness Center. Arizona Complete Health was the presenting sponsor and the funds will support all the programs at the Sports & Fitness Center including youth, sports teams, military and 360Outdoors.
